Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL jobs and data integration workflows using Talend Studio. - Extract data from multiple sources including relational databases, flat files, XML, and APIs. - Transform and cleanse data to meet business and quality standards. - Load data into target systems such as data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting databases. - Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Monitor ETL processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes or enhancements. - Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and technical specifications. - Ensure adherence to data governance and security policies. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - 2+ years of experience working as a Talend Developer or ETL Developer. - Strong hands-on experience with Talend Open Studio or Talend Enterprise Edition. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.). - Good understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling. - Experience with handling different data formats like CSV, JSON, XML. - Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, Python) is a plus. - Knowledge of performance tuning and debugging in Talend. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Desirable Skills: - Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Dataflow) alongside Talend. - Understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark is advantageous. - Knowledge of data governance, data quality tools, and metadata management. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Talend certification is a plus.
