General Manager – Corporate Affairs
We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Corporate Affairs to lead government relations, statutory compliance, and industrial relations for a Global Chemicals/Pharma organization. This role is based their corporate office in Mumbai and will report to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage relationships with Central, State & Local government authorities (DISH, MIDC, MPCB, CPCB, Labour Commissioner, etc.).
- Ensure statutory compliance, licenses, approvals, and smooth functioning of manufacturing units.
- Represent the company with leading industry associations (CHEMEXCIL, ICC, IMC, Bombay Chamber, etc.).
- Oversee general administration, estate management, and security.
- Partner with business leaders to drive corporate affairs strategy across multiple locations.
Ideal Profile:
- 10–15 years of experience in Corporate Affairs / Government Relations within Chemicals, Pharma, or Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, multi-location compliance, and Greenfield projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
This is a strategic leadership role offering the opportunity to work closely with government bodies and industry forums while shaping the organization’s growth.
