Mainframe production application Support

Job Description Key Responsibilities - Monitor & support business-critical Mainframe applications in production. - Analyze and resolve incidents within defined SLAs; perform root cause analysis. - Handle JCL batch jobs, Cobol program investigations, and system ware log analysis. - Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve recurring issues. - Perform environment checks, health monitoring, and proactive stability improvements. - Create and maintain support documents, SOPs, and knowledge base. - Participate in on-call rotation and weekend deployments as required. - Use Dynatrace and other monitoring tools for performance troubleshooting. - Automate recurring/manual tasks with Unix shell scripts. Required Skills (Primary) - Mainframe technologies (JCL, COBOL) - System ware / log analysis - Production support & incident management - Ticketing tools (ServiceNow/JIRA or similar) Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills - Unix/Linux shell scripting - Dynatrace or other APM tools - Understanding of Java APIs (for interface debugging) - Change/Problem management processes (ITIL knowledge is a plus) - Should be ready to work in All three shifts and Sat/Sun. on Rotation basis.
