Partner Development Specialist, GenAI ML, Amazon Partner Organisation

We are seeking a strategic Partner Development Specialist (PDS) to lead and scale AWS’s AI/ML and Generative AI partner ecosystem across key markets. This role demands a seasoned professional who can architect partner strategies, drive multi-million dollar revenue opportunities, and establish AWS as the definitive cloud platform for AI/ML workloads through strategic partnership development. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in AI/ML with proven executive-level relationship management skills, capable of influencing C-suite decisions and orchestrating complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives that deliver measurable business impact. Key job responsibilities Strategic Responsibilities Partner Ecosystem Leadership • Architect and execute comprehensive GenAI partner strategies spanning systems integrators, ISVs, and consulting partners to accelerate AWS AI/ML service adoption across enterprise segments • Drive strategic partnership expansion by identifying, evaluating, and onboarding Tier-1 partners with significant AI/ML capabilities and market reach • Establish and lead Center of Excellence initiatives with key partners, creating reusable accelerators, reference architectures, and go-to-market frameworks that scale across multiple customer engagements • Orchestrate complex, multi-partner solutions for large enterprise customers requiring integrated AI/ML capabilities across multiple domains Revenue and Growth Impact • Own and deliver ambitious revenue targets through partner-influenced opportunities, with accountability for $50M+ in annual partner-driven revenue • Develop and execute high-impact joint go-to-market strategies including co-developed solutions, joint marketing campaigns, and coordinated sales motions that drive measurable pipeline growth • Lead strategic account planning with top-tier partners to identify and capture multi-million dollar opportunities in key industry verticals • Drive partner investment decisions by building compelling business cases that justify AWS funding for partner enablement, marketing, and technical development Technical and Market Leadership • Provide technical thought leadership on AI/ML architecture patterns, serving as the definitive AWS expert for complex customer scenarios involving machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI implementations • Lead customer-facing technical discussions at the CTO/CDAO level, articulating AWS AI/ML value propositions and competitive differentiators in complex enterprise environments • Drive innovation through partner collaboration by identifying emerging market needs and working with AWS product teams to influence roadmap priorities • Establish technical governance frameworks ensuring partner solutions adhere to AWS best practices, security standards, and performance optimization guidelines Executive-Level Responsibilities Stakeholder Management and Influence • Manage executive relationships with partner C-suite leadership, establishing strategic alignment and securing long-term commitment to AWS-focused initiatives • Present strategic recommendations to AWS VP and SVP-level executives, providing data-driven insights on partner ecosystem performance and market opportunities • Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple AWS organizations including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Solutions Architecture to ensure coordinated partner support • Represent AWS at industry-leading conferences as a keynote speaker and thought leader, establishing AWS market position in AI/ML domains Team and Capability Development • Mentor and develop junior partner managers providing technical guidance and strategic coaching to accelerate team capability development • Design and implement partner enablement programs including technical certification paths, sales training curricula, and marketing support frameworks • Establish partner success metrics and governance creating accountability frameworks that ensure partners meet technical and business commitments About the team this role will be a part of the Amazon Partner Organisation which is the corner stone of our AWS strategy of "partners everywhere" where we lead with partners for better customer outcomes and develop a robust partner community of anticipating and serving our customer needs of tomorrow- 8+ years of work in partner management within e-commerce or technology sectors experience - Proven track record of driving $25M+ in annual revenue through partner channels and strategic alliances - Executive relationship management experience with demonstrated ability to influence C-suite decision-making - Technical Expertise - Advanced proficiency in AWS AI/ML services including SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, Textract, and related data analytics services - Deep understanding of enterprise AI/ML architecture patterns, including MLOps, data lake architectures, and real-time inference systems - Strong grasp of generative AI technologies, large language models, and enterprise AI governance frameworks - Business and Leadership Skills - Bachelor degree with strong business strategy and financial analysis capabilities - Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences - Proven ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail - Experience managing P&L responsibility or significant budget accountability in technology partnerships- Industry expertise in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, or retail verticals - Previous experience at major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or leading systems integrators -
