This role is for one of Weekday s clients Salary range Rs 1000000 - Rs 1500000 ie INR 10-15 LPA Min Experience 5 years Location Dehradun Delhi Gurgaon NOIDA JobType full-time Requirements We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations with a strong focus on accounting taxation and compliance The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in corporate tax GST TDS income tax and payroll tax compliance along with hands-on experience in financial reporting MIS and tax preparation This is a strategic role where you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management compliance with regulatory requirements and the development of effective accounting practices You will also play a key role in supporting decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting Key Responsibilities Accounting Financial Management Lead end-to-end accounting operations ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with accounting standards Manage the preparation of financial statements balance sheets P L statements and cash flow reports Implement strong internal controls and ensure adherence to organizational financial policies Taxation Compliance Oversee all aspects of tax accounting tax preparation and tax compliance Prepare and file income tax returns GST returns TDS returns and ensure timely submission Handle corporate tax matters including compliance audits and assessments Manage payroll taxes and ensure statutory compliance with applicable laws Stay updated with changes in taxation laws and advise management on tax planning and risk mitigation MIS Reporting Develop and deliver MIS reports to provide accurate and timely financial insights to senior management Track financial performance analyze variances and provide actionable recommendations Support budgeting forecasting and strategic decision-making processes Audit Governance Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for smooth and timely audits Ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks corporate governance standards and statutory requirements Maintain proper documentation and records for tax filings compliance and audits Collaboration Leadership Work closely with cross-functional teams including HR operations and senior leadership Guide and mentor junior finance team members ensuring professional growth and adherence to best practices Contribute to financial strategy planning and risk management initiatives Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting Finance or related fields 5 years of professional experience in accounting taxation and financial control roles Strong knowledge of Income Tax Corporate Tax GST TDS Payroll Taxes and Tax Accounting Proven experience in tax preparation tax compliance and tax return filings Solid expertise in MIS reporting and financial analysis Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems Excellent understanding of financial regulations and statutory compliance Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work under deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Skills Professional certifications such as CA CPA CMA or ACCA Experience in handling cross-border taxation and international accounting standards Exposure to corporate finance fundraising or financial strategy
