Job Description About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Editing Coordinator to manage high-volume video edits handled by our team of editors and the QC (Quality Check) team. You will be responsible for assigning daily tasks, tracking progress, ensuring targets are met, and improving workflow efficiency. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys operations, coordination, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities - Assign daily editing tasks to video editors based on workload and skill level. - Coordinate closely with the QC team to ensure timely review and approval of edits . - Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly targets are consistently me t - . Track progress of all edits using internal tools, sheets, or project management syste m - s. Maintain an updated dashboard for edit status, pending tasks, and back log. Workflow Optimizat - ion Identify bottlenecks in the editing and QC workflow and propose solut i - ons. Improve task allocation to reduce delays and maintain smooth opera t - ions. Work with the editing lead/team to ensure standard processes are fo l - lowed. Assist in creating SOPs, guidelines, and best practices for editing and Q C teams. Quality & D - elivery Ensure that all edited videos meet the company's quality standards before fina l - output. Follow up on revisions and re-edits to ensure they are delivere d - on time. Maintain accuracy and consistency across all edits. Communication & Col - laboration Act as the bridge between editors, QC, and - management. Share clear daily priorities, feedback, and expectations w i - th the team. Provide daily reporting on team performance, output, a nd challenges. Required Skills & Qualifications 12 years of experience in video editing coordination, post-production coordination, or similar role. Strong understanding of video editing workflows (editing, QC, revisions). Excellent communication, planning, and task management skills. Ability to work with deadlines and handle high-volume operations. Proficiency with Google Sheets, Drive, and project management tools. Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. Preferred (Good to Have) Experience working with large editing teams (5+ editors). Basic understanding of video formats, resolutions, and editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). Experience in agencies or fast-paced content production environments.
