Position: Azure DevOps Engineer Work Location: Remote (India) Relevant years of Experience: 5+ Years Total Experience: 8+ Years Job Type: Contract (6 Months) Shift Time: UK / US Shift Salary Range: Max 13L PA Role Summary Experienced professionals with deep domain knowledge. Expected to lead modules or workstreams, ensure high-quality delivery, and act as subject matter experts. They are also expected to drive innovation and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. - Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep. - Manage application deployments across environments — App Services, AKS, VMs, etc. - Implement Git branching strategies and manage Azure Repos / GitHub repositories. - Configure and maintain Azure resources, optimizing for cost, performance, and security. - Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights. - Ensure security and compliance across build, release, and infrastructure pipelines. - Collaborate remotely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure continuous delivery. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in build, deployment, and runtime environments. Required Skills and Experience - 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with at least 3 years on Azure DevOps. - Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools – Azure Pipelines, YAML templates. - Solid understanding of Azure cloud services (App Services, AKS, Storage, Networking). - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform / ARM / Bicep. - Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. - Proficiency in PowerShell or Bash scripting. - Experience with Git version control and artifact management. - Familiar with Agile/Scrum workflows and remote collaboration tools (Jira, Teams, Slack).
