About the RoleWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Java Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend systems that power our web and mobile applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about backend technologies and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.Develop RESTful APIs and web services using Spring MVC.Optimize and manage relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), including writing complex queries and schema design.Implement and maintain automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, and adopt TDD practices.Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure on AWS.Leverage cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda for scalable backend solutions.Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning.Collaborate with QA, product managers, and front-end developers to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.Follow Agile best practices and utilize tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Confluence.
Technical Requirements4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in backend development with Java and related technologies.Strong understanding of Core Java, JEE, class loading, memory management, and transaction handling.Expertise in the Spring ecosystem Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.Proficiency in ORM tools such as Hibernate/JPA.Experience developing and consuming REST APIs using Spring REST or JAX-RS.Hands-on experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control (Git).Familiarity with application servers (Tomcat, JBoss).Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, SonarQube) and DevOps best practices.Practical experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.Knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills in Agile environments.
