TCS is hiring for Lead Data Analyst (Data bricks, AWS) role Experience: 6 to 12 years Location: Kolkata, Ahmedabad Skills: Power BI, Tableau, Data bricks, AWS, Amazon Redshift, and RESTful APIs. Key Responsibilities - Lead a team of data analysts, providing direction, mentorship, and performance feedback. - Define analytical standards, frameworks, and best practices for data profiling, quality assessment, and metrics development. - Drive advanced data analysis to validate assumptions and quantify benefits for business cases. - Oversee scenario modelling and impact analysis to support decision-making. - Ensure robust data governance practices, including lineage validation and metadata management. - Monitor and improve data quality across multiple sources and platforms. - Act as the primary liaison between data stewards, engineers, and business stakeholders. - Communicate complex insights clearly to senior leadership and decision-makers. - Oversee use of cloud-based platforms (e.g., Databricks, Amazon Redshift) for large-scale data analysis. - Ensure efficient integration of data using APIs and advanced data engineering practices. - Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track data governance maturity and risk mitigation progress. - Present analytical findings and recommendations in executive-level reports. Capabilities, Qualifications & Experience - Minimum 8+ years in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). - Hands-on experience with Databricks, Amazon Redshift, and RESTful APIs. - Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks. - Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in agile environments. - Exceptional ability to convey complex insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
