As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking team, you will be an experienced member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering reliable, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your role involves implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's strategic goals.

Job responsibilities

- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals.

- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

- Formal training or certification onsoftware engineeringconcepts and 2+ years applied experience
- Hands-on experience of developing Micro services using Java and Spring Boot in Public Cloud
- Hands-on experience of building distributed system with micro-services.
- Hands-on experience with event driven app architecture (Kafka) , Distributed Databases( PostgreSQL)
- Hands-on experience in application design, development and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Willingness to work on teams that develop highly scalable, secure, and resilient applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA, Hibernate, Swagger
- Demonstrate independent problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions to complex analytical

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience in leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning frameworks/libraries to deliver the efficiency in the project.
- Certification in AWS
