Architecture to join us to set the software architectural direction for current and future projects based on the strategy direction by management You would grow and groom your team to deliver best in class solution and enterprise architecture for our Automotive Services Business What You Will Do Define the software architecture and concepts for products and customer projects for Automotive Services Business You will work with other organizations across Harman to develop unified SW architectures and define SW interfaces Grow and groom the architects at different levels and scope within the Automotive Services Business Work with external and internal stakeholders to architect high quality projects and products What You Need Around 18-24 years professional experience related in software development in a global setting 7 years in technical leadership preferably leading a team of SW architects Master s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred Proven expertise developing complex systems from architecture to implementation Understanding of complex device ecosystems such as Android and Linux Comfortable navigating technical and product issues around privacy and security Experience of designing and building scalable and distributed software applications Automotive relevant experience which includes working with Automotive OEMs Knowledge of automotive technologies and industry trends Experience working in a matrix global organization by collaborating with key stakeholders Intellectual and curious with a passion for storytelling Experience pivoting and navigating dynamic and changing situations Proactive self-sufficient and professional with strong organizational and time management skills Passionate and enthusiastic about delivering powerful presentations Flexibility to work in office or remotely travel for business and work in multiple time zones as needed Strong understanding of KPI s that drive engineering success and applying that to maximize the performance of the teams Strong experience in developing test automation frameworks Ability to negotiate through differences and persuade others to act Quickly assess situations identify root causes and determine required resources to effectively resolve Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing test teams in a global environment Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical associates What Makes You Eligible Willingness to travel Willingness to work in an office Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation What We Offer Flexible work environment allowing for full-time remote work globally for positions that can be performed outside a HARMAN or customer location Access to employee discounts on world-class Harman and Samsung products JBL HARMAN Kardon AKG etc Extensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN University Competitive wellness benefits Tuition reimbursement Be Brilliant employee recognition and rewards program An inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development You Belong Here HARMAN is committed to making every employee feel welcomed valued and empowered No matter what role you play we encourage you to share your ideas voice your distinct perspective and bring your whole self with you -
