Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 5 to 9 years of experience in database administration and domain expertise in Cards & Payments. The ideal candidate will excel in managing MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server environments. This hybrid role requires a proactive approach to ensure seamless database operations contributing to the companys mission of enhancing financial services. Responsibilities - Manage and maintain MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and performance. - Implement database changes and apply new patches and versions when required. - Monitor database performance and optimize queries to enhance system efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment. - Ensure data integrity and security across all database platforms. - Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data. - Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime. - Document database configurations processes and procedures for future reference. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders. - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Participate in capacity planning and scaling of database infrastructure. - Analyze and report on database performance metrics to inform decision-making. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management. Qualifications - Possess strong expertise in MariaDB MySQL and MS SQL Server administration. - Demonstrate experience in the Cards & Payments domain. - Exhibit proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization. - Show capability in developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies. - Have a solid understanding of data security and integrity principles. - Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
