Integration Architect, FinTech

Role Description: The Integrations Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end Integrations technology solutions that align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and enterprise IT standards. This role bridges the gap between Integrations domain experts, technology teams (product and engineering), and other Finance domain architects to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient Integrations solutions. Key Job Responsibilities and Duties Strategize - Develop Integrations solution architecture strategy in alignment with the Business goals - Manages a multi-layer/multi-technological Integrations architecture governance: develops, communicates and ensures adherence to architecture processes, principles, policies and standards for the enterprise - Accountable for the implementation of Integrations architecture roadmap for designated product tracks, in or outside the Financial platform (SAP S/4) - Design and document scalable, secure, and high-performing architecture for integration solutions, with emphasis on real-time data exchange, system reliability, and compliance (e.g. GDPR, SOX, DORA) - Brings deep expertise in API-led integration, iPaaS platforms, message queues (e.g., Kafka), and Convergent Meditation technologies - Ensure architectural alignment with the ERP ecosystem, data models, and governance standards, translating complex interfacing requirements into architectural views Innovate - Identify emerging technologies that can enable the overall business architecture - Contribute to the development of proof of concepts or prototypes - Stay up to date with evolving Integration services and patterns to govern a regulated environment and ensure solutions support compliance Architect - Define development guidelines and standards to be utilized in Integrations capabilities, in collaboration with other Finance domains - Analyze the current IT ecosystem architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements, in terms of Integrations patterns - Define transition steps and strategy from the current to the future architecture - Analyze high-level feasibility of business requirements concerning Integrations solutions - Define the conceptual and detailed architecture for the development of Integrations and oversee the evolution of that architecture as the platform is deployed across the entire organization - Develop and maintain IT ecosystem Integrations architecture models, processes and documentation Deliver - Identify system requirements for ERP and non-ERP interfaces - Review requirements across multiple Integration solutions and develops models that span applications and domains - Contribute to the identification of opportunities (processes, people) to improve project delivery and/or development methodologies. Technology, Craft & Deliver - [3+] years specifically in Finance-related technology projects & solutions - [5+] years of relevant working experience designing and architecting Integrations solutions - Deep understanding of integration technologies and protocols: REST, SOAP, GraphQL, JSON, XML, JMS, FTP, SFTP - Experience with middleware / iPaaS platforms: MuleSoft, BTP, Convergent Mediation - Knowledge of API management, service mesh, and event-driven platforms (e.g. Kafka) - Familiarity with cloud-native integration patterns in AWS (Amazon), Azure (Microsoft), or GCP (Google). - Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy in regulated environments - Strong communicator: able to build a strong network within the organization, trusted adviser for stakeholders - Experience with high volume transactional flow > 1B/day - Hands on experience with modern Cloud native architecture like serverless,scale up and out, EKS, CBA is a plus - Job location is Bangalore
