Role Description This is a contract, remote role for a Transcription Evaluation Rater. The primary responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating transcriptions for accuracy and quality. The role involves listening to audio files, comparing text with audio, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring adherence to established guidelines. Time management and attention to detail are crucial to meet deadlines and deliver precise evaluations. Candidates are expected to work independently but maintain open communication with the team as needed. Qualifications - Proficiency in transcription evaluation, listening, and error analysis - Strong attention to detail, proofreading, and editing skills to ensure content accuracy - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Experience with transcription tools and software is a plus - Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting - Previous experience in transcription, linguistics, or language review roles is beneficial - Familiarity with style guides and transcription standards is a plus
