Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Business Head to lead our corporate sales initiatives across South India, with a primary focus on selling Business Information Reports (BIRs) to corporate clients. This leadership role is instrumental in driving growth, enhancing regional presence, and building a high-performing sales team to capture opportunities in the corporate sector. As the Regional Business Head, you will have the opportunity to influence our market presence and contribute significantly to our success in the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to expand market share and achieve revenue targets for BIRs in South India.
- Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Client Acquisition: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in corporate organizations to offer tailored business information solutions.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor regional economic trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to adapt business strategies proactively.
- Performance Management: Set clear performance goals, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with operations, IT, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the integration of new business processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Over 10 years of proven experience in a leadership role within the BFSI domain, with a focus on selling business information services.
- Demonstrated success in building, managing, and inspiring teams to achieve business growth.
- Robust network and established relationships within the corporate sector in South India.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
