Sr Ptc Windchill Developer

Position Summary The Sr PTC Windchill Developer is responsible for designing developing and supporting Product Lifecycle Management PLM solutions using PTC Windchill and associated technologies This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to automate engineering processes configure and customize Windchill modules and ensure robust data governance As a member of Milacron s IT Shared Services team the developer leverages technical expertise creativity and process-oriented development to enhance PLM capabilities and support multiple business entities globally Work You ll Do Collaborate with Engineering IT Analysts and PLM stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable Windchill solutions Design develop and configure PTC Windchill and Thingworx APPS including PDMLink ProjectLink MPMLink and Windchill Quality Solutions Customize workflows lifecycles roles access control policies and business rules using best practices Windchill Business Logic published APIs and Configuration tools Develop and maintain integrations between Windchill and ERP CAD CRM and other enterprise systems using web services and middleware Document all functional specifications technical designs use cases and integration touchpoints Support data migration activities Windchill upgrades and maintenance tasks Ensure PLM system data integrity security settings and version control mechanisms across global teams Provide Help Desk and enhancement support related to Windchill features templates document management and BOM configuration Partner with global business units to optimize change management product release workflows project collaboration spaces and document processes Design develop and maintain Windchill Reports and Report building Configure and maintain Windchill publishing Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s degree in information technology Mechanical Engineering Computer Science or a related field 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Windchill Development and PLM system support Expertise in Windchill APIs Info Engine XML Java JSP and web services REST SOAP Expertise in PTC Thingworx API and APP development Familiarity with CAD data management Creo ProE BOM structures and enterprise integrations Experience customizing Windchill workflows lifecycle templates and data models Strong grasp of engineering change management and product data governance Experience in Windchill Business Rules Configuration BRC Type Attribute Management Basic release and deployment management practices Ability to critically evaluate feature requests and offer strategic alternatives Excellent English communication skills additional languages are a plus Self-driven and comfortable working in a globally distributed team Willingness to travel up to 10 domestic and occasional international Preferred Qualifications Experience with MS Azure-based integrations Who we are Milacron is a global leader in the manufacture distribution and service of highly engineered and customized systems within the 27 billion plastic technology and processing industry We are the only global company with a full-line product portfolio that includes hot runner systems injection molding extrusion equipment We maintain strong market positions across these products as well as leading positions in process control systems mold bases and components maintenance repair and operating MRO supplies for plastic processing equipment Our strategy is to deliver highly customized equipment components and service to our customers throughout the lifecycle of their plastic processing technology systems EEO The policy of Milacron is to extend opportunities to qualified applicants and employees on an equal basis regardless of an individual s age race color sex religion national origin disability sexual orientation gender identity expression or veteran status We are committed to being an Equal Employment Opportunity EEO Employer and offer opportunities to all job seekers including individuals with disabilities If you need a reasonable accommodation to assist with your job search or application for employment email us at In your email please include a description of the specific accommodation you are requesting as well as the job title and requisition number of the position for which you are applying
