Job Description Hiring SOX Business Controls with Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (_VOIS) About Job Experience level: 2-5years Location: Pune, (Hybrid-Office presence required once every 2 weeks) Required Qualification: CA/CWA/CIA/CPA About this Role The SOX Centre of Excellence (COE) within Vodafone Group FinOps and Controls plays a vital role in reinforcing the second line of defence for the Group Finance function. Based in Pune, this position is responsible for driving excellence in SOX compliance by designing, implementing, and monitoring business controls that uphold accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity across finance operations. The role involves leading compliance reviews across Vodafone Group Markets, working collaboratively with first-line teams to establish and maintain a robust control framework. This includes evaluating the design and operational effectiveness of controls for SOX compliance, conducting quality assurance reviews, and partnering with process owners to resolve control-related matters. You are passionate about upholding high standards of financial integrity and are confident in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. What you will do - Conduct SOX compliance and Section 404 testing on in-scope Vodafone finance processes. - Deliver the SOX cycle in alignment with Group methodology. - Track audit engagements and observations in a timely and organised manner. - Coordinate and communicate across audit functions, global markets, and external auditors. - Perform quality assurance and compliance reviews on finance operations and control self-attestations. - Collaborate with process owners across markets to resolve control issues. - Maintain standard control sets for Vodafone Finance Operations. - Liaise effectively with external auditors, including EY. What skills you need - Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant qualification. - Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in Audit, SOX Compliance, or Risk Management. - Practical experience in testing business SOX controls. - Ability to identify risks and implement effective controls. - Strong communication skills with clarity and enthusiasm. - Proven ability to manage time and deliver results. - Experience working in diverse teams and adapting to different cultures.
