Job Category Associate GLOBAL BANKING MARKETSWe make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock options and futures exchanges worldwide Through our global sales force we maintain relationships with our clients receiving orders and distributing investment research trading ideas market information and analysis YOUR IMPACTThe Loan Data Quality team is seeking a motivated professional to support loan product data set up maintenance and loan closing We seek team orientated candidates who can demonstrate excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage competing tasks and prioritize risk accordingly in a fast paced and demanding environment Team members are expected to be able to consistently deliver on day-to-day execution as well as contribute to strategic organizational goals OUR IMPACTInvestment Banking Operations is a dynamic multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to facilitate banking financing capabilities to clients around the world In addition IB Operations provide essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm s assets and its reputation The Loan Data Quality team is responsible for ongoing management of loan product data and closing functions which includes primary loan trade settlements and initial draw funding to the borrower Daily interactions with key stakeholders such as Bankers Legal Credit Risk and Technology are crucial to the role to ensure timely and effective client service HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL Gain a comprehensive understanding of the bank loan business and understanding loan structures Leverage your quantitative skills to decompose complex loan restructures and ensure booking are complete within timelines Enhance your industry knowledge through settlement of complex loan closings Develop cash settlement expertise via thorough understanding of payments and settlement platforms Grow with the team develop a deeper understanding of complex transactions and work with our business partners to progress on organizational goals Assume accountability and ownership of complex situations offering own expertise to influence outcomes Risk Management - Partner with regional management team to provide effective oversight of key loan product data attributes Deliver consistent client service through partnerships with other teams and divisions Deliver day-to-day issue resolution through effective time management prioritization and multi-tasking Continually adapt to changes in the business markets and regulatory environment Collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks associated with bespoke workflows Showcase your ability to function as a team player in a highly collaborative environment while working closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Business Groups Reporting Controllers Risk Technology and Operations Leadership Collaborate with global team counterparts in Dallas on initiatives supporting a global loan support model Support MIS reporting including key risk indicators trends and milestones of the team SKILLS EXPERIENCE WE RE LOOKING FOR -BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in a finance related field preferred Minimum experience of 3 years in Loan Operations total experience of 4 -
