Job Description Responsibilities - Design and Development: Research and develop new products and systems, create detailed technical drawings and models using CAD software, and conduct feasibility studies. - Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Modify designs based on test results and feedback. - Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, designers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure designs meet all requirements and are manufacturable. - Manufacturing Support: Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality. Provide technical support to the manufacturing team and supervise the manufacturing process. - Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all designs, plans, and test reports. Write technical documentation and assembly instructions. - Project Management: Estimate costs, manage project budgets, and adhere to timelines. Stay up-to-date with the latest design engineering trends and technologies. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor's degree in design engineering, mechanical engineering, product design, or a related field. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in design software such asCAD(e.g., SolidWorks) and other relevant engineering programs. - Strong understanding of engineering principles and mathematics. - Experience with product design, research, and development. - Soft Skills: - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication, both oral and written. - Attention to detail and good organizational skills. - Creativity and a good visual and spatial awareness. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
