Key Responsibilities End-to-End Payroll Processing Manage the complete payroll cycle including gathering inputs attendance leave data timesheets calculating salaries benefits bonuses and processing timely payments Statutory Compliance Ensure strict adherence to Indian statutory requirements including timely and accurate calculation and submission of TDS Tax Deducted at Source PF Provident Fund ESI Employees State Insurance Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund LWF Data Management Record Keeping Maintain and update accurate employee records in the HRIS or payroll software Reporting Reconciliation Prepare various payroll reports such as salary registers reports and MIS Management Information Systems reports Reconcile payroll data with general ledgers and bank statements Query Resolution Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related queries discrepancies and concerns ensuring timely and professional resolution Audits Support Assist with internal and external payroll audits providing necessary documentation and ensuring all processes are transparent and compliant Policy Implementation Collaborate with the HR and finance departments to implement and monitor company pay policies and procedures Required Qualifications and Skills Education A Bachelor s degree and a Master s degree in Human Resources is required Experience Proven work experience typically 2-3 years in a dedicated payroll or accounts executive role preferably within an educational institution or a similar high-volume environment Technical Skills Proficiency in payroll software and systems Strong MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP Pivot Tables and complex formulas Familiarity with HR Information Systems HRIS and time attendance tracking systems Soft Skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent organisational and time management abilities to meet strict deadlines High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly Effective verbal and written communication skills Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person
