Key Responsibilities - Web Design: Design and produce engaging, on-brand graphics for the website, including promotional banners, landing page visuals, and icons. - User Interface (UI) Design: Collaborate with the product and development teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our web and mobile applications. - Social Media Marketing: Conceptualize and create high-quality visuals for all our social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.), such as posts, stories, infographics, and ad creatives. - Branding & Identity: Assist in the development and maintenance of our brand identity. This includes creating logos, typography, color palettes, and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials. - Marketing Collateral: Design a variety of digital and print materials, including email newsletters, presentations, brochures, and event graphics. - Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, content, and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives. - Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team. Required Skills and Qualifications - Experience: 2-4 years of proven professional experience in graphic design. - Portfolio: A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing expertise in website banners, UI design, social media graphics, and branding projects. - Software Proficiency: - Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). - Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. - Design Principles: Solid understanding of design principles, including composition, color theory, typography, and layout. - Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual designs. - Time Management: Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts to team members. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with basic video editing and motion graphics (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro). - Experience working in a fast-paced startup or agency environment. - Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices for visual content.
