Job Description Job Title: Senior Landscape Architect Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: 1012 years Industry: Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Design, Environmental Planning About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned and creative Senior Landscape Architect with 10 to 12 years of experience to lead and contribute to high-impact landscape and urban design projects. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and a passion for creating sustainable and innovative outdoor environments. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the planning, design, and execution of landscape architecture projects from concept through construction. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including architects, planners, engineers, and environmental consultants. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring quality standards are met. - Mentor junior staff and provide leadership in design development, technical detailing, and documentation. - Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments. - Oversee the preparation of design presentations, construction drawings, specifications, and reports. - Maintain client relationships and participate in stakeholder meetings, community consultations, and regulatory reviews. - Ensure compliance with local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and sustainable design principles. Qualifications: - Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program. - 1012 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, preferably with exposure to both public and private sector projects. - Membership of Indian Society of Landscape Architecture. - Strong portfolio showcasing a range of project types, scales, and design innovation. - Proficiency in design and documentation software: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, and/or Revit. GIS knowledge is a plus. - In-depth knowledge of planting design, grading, stormwater management, and sustainable site strategies. - Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
