ELV & ICT Design

Job Description Design Engineer ELV and ICT system will be responsible for the overall design delivery of the ELV/ICT systems. The role will include design, coordinate and provide design, drawings, specifications, BOQ and other technical documents for tender and operating projects. The person also needs to coordinate with site execution team and vendors to ensure that design is followed, and T&C is done accordingly. He/she should have expertise in all types of building projects like airports, hospitals, railways and metros, public spaces like stadium, malls, hotels, convention centre, offices/IT buildings etc. Responsibilities/Capabilities - General. - Well-developed interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to all levels. - Good communications and written skills, team player, self-motivated, assertive and high analytical skill. - Respond positively and flexibly and be open to change - Good attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. - Must be enthusiastic about learning, innovation, and motivating others. - Must maintain self-control & discipline in challenging situations - Must have a pleasant disposition and work in partnership with people on an individual, team level and end user levels. - Support the successful delivery of high-quality projects on time and to budgets - Knowledge in Data centre, Telecom rooms, server room , BHS server, AODB, NOC room design as per codes and standards - Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies - Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to line manager - Attend and contribute to team and project meetings as required - Contribute to the delivery of the BU strategy. Including supporting the companies approach to sustainability - Ensure QMS and Project Lifecycle compliance across team and projects - Awareness on Indian and International Standards pertaining to ELV/ICT. Responsibilities - For Tender Project. - Capability to quickly understand the project and preparing queries in coordination with the manager/immediate supervisor. - For details which are not available in tender, the candidate should be capable of providing the design anticipating the necessary requirements as per standard norms, codes and best engineering practices. - Preparation of Service Inputs w.r.to ELV /ICT systems which may include but not limited to ELV/ICT Room Space Planning, electrical load and HVAC heat dissipation details. - Capability in extraction of details from the BIM Models if provided by client. - Preparation of project scope of works /project brief. - Preparation of simulation reports using software like EASE Address, EASE Focus, JVSG,IB Wave, EKAHAU and other such simulation tools. - Preparation of tender BOQ /estimate, IO Summary, indices etc - Preparation of Value Engineering options. - Preparation of schematic drawings in AutoCAD. - Candidate should be able to coordinate with other disciplines and facilitate seamless input sharing. - Candidate with knowledge on estimation of ELV/ICT system will be an added advantage. - Candidate to update the manager /immediate supervisor in all the steps of project mentioned above and appraising him/her on any support required or clarifications required. Responsibilities - For Operating Project. - Identifying and aligning himself/herself based on the modality of operation for the design stage. - Discussing with manger/immediate supervisor on the key milestones w.r.to design and execution at project site to initiate the procurement BOQs, drawings etc - Preparation of the DBR, Drawings, BOQ and other technical documents as per the project requirement and client needs. - Obtaining approvals on the design submissions from client /other stake holders. - Participate in Coordination meetings and ensuring the relevant data w.r.to ELV/ICT systems are exchanged with the concerned disciplines. - Support procurement team in technical evaluation of the ELV/ICT Systems vendors/sub-contractors in consultation with immediate supervisor/manager. - First Level QA/QC Review of GFC Drawings and Coordination drawings and submitting the same for manager/immediate supervisor review and approval. - Review and Approval of Shop Drawings. - Supporting Site Execution team in installation, testing, commissioning and handover. - Responsible for design, validation and finalisation of ELV & ICT systems Key Competencies / Skills: - Technical Capability & Delivery w.r.to ELV/ICT Systems - Client Relationships, Collaboration & Teamwork - Commercial Acumen, Adaptability & Learning List of ELV/ICT Systems - The candidate should have knowledge and relevant experience in performing all the roles and responsibilities as mentioned above for the following systems. - Security Systems - CCTV System (Internal and External) - Access control system - Perimeter Intrusion Detection System - Parking management system - Boom barrier - Bollards - Tyre Killers - Under Vehicle Scanning Systems - ICT Systems - ICT Active - ICT Passive - Wi-Fi - Data Center Design (ELV/ICT) - Video Wall Design (For control rooms) - Building Services - IBMS - Public Address & Voice Alarm System (PAVA) - Other Special/Airport Systems - Flight information display systems. - IPTV - E-gate - Crash Alarm System - Distributed Antenna System - Trunk Mobile Radio Systems - Master System Integration & Information Broker Works - Visual Docking Guidance System - Information Display Systems - Master Time Clock system
