Company Description Visa is a world leader in payments and technology with over 259 billion payments transactions flowing safely between consumers merchants financial institutions and government entities in more than 200 countries and territories each year Our mission is to connect the world through the most innovative convenient reliable and secure payments network enabling individuals businesses and economies to thrive while driven by a common purpose - to uplift everyone everywhere by being the best way to pay and be paid Make an impact with a purpose-driven industry leader Join us today and experience Life at Visa Visa is seeking a Product Analyst to support the development and management of foundational data assets reporting to Director of Data Production within the Global Data Office This role is ideal for individuals passionate about data technology and product management who want to grow their career in a dynamic environment As a Product Analyst you will assist in defining requirements analyzing data and supporting the execution of the product roadmap for Visa s core data platforms You will work closely with product managers engineers and business stakeholders to ensure enhancements meet business needs and maintain high standards of data quality and governance Essential Functions Participate in the development and implementation of product strategies for foundational data assets consistent with business needs and company vision Manage execute the foundational payment data assets product backlog and roadmap aligning with the overall data strategy and business objectives Gather and document business requirements for data enhancements and platform improvements Analyze data usage patterns and provide insights to support product decisions Maintain product documentation and support communication of updates to stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of enhancements Work closely with Data Science and AI ML teams to understand their data requirements ensuring foundational data assets are optimized for model training and deployment Collaborate with global and regional partners to understand market-specific needs ensuring our foundational data assets are tailored to support local and global business requirements Collaborate with privacy and governance teams to ensure that the core payment data products comply with relevant policies standards and regulations Support the migration of users and applications to abide by compliance requirements and facilitate the adoption of core payment data products across Visa Liaise with other business units product leaders engineering and other applicable groups to ensure flawless execution This is a hybrid position Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager Qualifications Basic Qualifications 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor s Degree or 5 years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications 3 or more years of work experience and a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree e g Masters MBA JD MD 2 years of experience in business or technical product management with strong data engineering or data science background Strong product development skills with a sound understanding of payment technology and other ecosystem requirements Prior experience with managing data product development in the banking or payments industry with an understanding of payments industry data is a plus Experience with Big Data Cloud technologies Hadoop Databases and SQL Experience with agile and lean methodologies and experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with engineers analysts and business partners Excellent communication skills with organizational and leadership abilities to influence negotiate and drive results Aptitude to collaborate with engineering teams to build robust reliable and scalable payment solutions Ability to think creatively to solve problems Experience and knowledge of Agile Scrum project methodology and practices Advanced degree desirable Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin sexual orientation gender identity disability or protected veteran status Visa will also consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law
