What you'll do As a Dev Expert in S/4 HANA Defense & Security Development team, you will be working in a fast-paced technical environment with Chief Architects / Developers / UI designers / Product Managers and Business Unit. You will be leading a team in design, implementation and release of software to produce high quality deliverables. Your key responsibilities will include: - Constructively and actively lead development team in your role as an Dev Expert - Ensure the high-Quality Standard of the Product - Bring the Defense & Security solution to the next level of innovation based on S4/HANA - Demonstrates full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrates a good level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. - Customer orientation and interest to apply Design Thinking techniques In your day-to-day activities, you will: - Ensure end-to-end ownership of features, from design and development till deployment. - Quickly acquire understanding in new product and technology areas - Apply S/4 HANA programming methodologies in the areas you handle Work collaboratively with your main partners, who can be your peers in Engineering, SAP Chief Product Owner, and Solution Management to drive the planning and implementation of the product. Education and Experienc - B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in a related technical discipline, ideally Computer Science - Minimum 15+ years of programming experience in Software Development Lifecycle - Strong SAP technology experience in multiple business and technical processes - Proven ability to work in a distributed setup - Previous work experience as Architect, Product Owner / Development Manager preferred - Prior experience in Public Sector teams would be an added advantage Meet your team SAP S/4HANA for Defense & Security (D&S) started in 2017 with multiple Defence Forces (nations) aiming at Ready and Capable Defence Forces. Currently we have completed development of most of the must have scenarios and is working on the enhancements as needed by the nations. The SAP S/4HANA Defense & Security solution enhances the standard SAP functions by providing functions for the following business tasks and processes :Organizational Flexibility (mapping organizational structures and material and personnel resource planning) - Materials Management - Maintenance - Support for Flight Operations - Support for Disconnected Operations / Remote Server - The Defense & Security team is responsible for end-to-end maintenance of multiple functional areas as mentioned above.
