Job Title DRAFTSMAN -AutoCAD Plant 3D Solid works Water Treatment Automation Location Thirumudivakkam Chennai Job Type Full time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Draftsman with expertise in AutoCAD and Plant 3D to prepare P ID PFD detailed engineering drawings and plant layouts for water treatment and automation projects The ideal candidate should have experience in process engineering drawings instrumentation layouts and integration of automation systems Key Responsibilities v Drawing Preparation o Create and update Piping Instrumentation Diagrams P ID and Process Flow Diagrams PFD o Prepare detailed fabrication and installation drawings for civil mechanical piping and instrumentation works o Develop plant layouts equipment layouts and piping isometrics v Software Proficiency o Use AutoCAD 2D 3D and Autodesk Plant 3D for designing and modeling o Prepare 3D models of water treatment plants and automation systems v Collaboration o Coordinate with process engineers project engineers and site teams to ensure design compliance o Incorporate feedback from engineering and project management teams into drawings v Standards Documentation o Ensure all drawings comply with company and industry standards ISO ANSI IS codes o Maintain proper drawing documentation revisions and version control v Support for Automation o Assist in instrumentation and control drawings for automation systems o Prepare loop diagrams and instrumentation layouts for SCADA DCS integration v Qualifications o Education Diploma Bachelor s in Mechanical Civil Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering o Experience 2-5 years in drafting for water treatment industrial automation or process plants v Skills o AutoCAD 2D 3D - Advanced o Autodesk Plant 3D - Preferred o Knowledge of P ID PFD isometrics and plant layout design o Familiarity with water treatment processes STP WTP RO ETP etc o Basic knowledge of instrumentation and control systems Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided
