The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and data engineering/data science workflows. Key Responsibilities - Deliver virtual training programs on Databricks, Spark, and related technologies. - Customise course content to suit client-specific needs and industry use cases. - Conduct workshops, hands-on labs, and Q&A sessions. - Support learners in building foundational and advanced data engineering and data science knowledge using Databricks. - Stay updated with the latest Databricks releases, features, and best practices. - Provide feedback to the curriculum development team to enhance course content. - Support pre-sales efforts by conducting demo sessions or webinars when required. Required Qualifications - Proven experience as a trainer, instructor, or educator in data analytics, engineering, or cloud technologies. - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark. - Strong knowledge of data engineering, SQL, Python, and big data tools. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Experience in delivering technical training to adult learners or corporate clients. Preferred Qualifications - Databricks or Spark certification (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate). - Experience in teaching or mentoring in a technical environment. - Ability to create training materials and lab exercises.
