About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst Intern to join our cybersecurity team for Summer 2025. This part-time position offers hands-on experience in information security operations, vulnerability assessment, and security monitoring. The ideal candidate has foundational IT knowledge, relevant certifications, and a passion for cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

- Assist in monitoring security systems and identifying potential threats
- Support security incident response and documentation processes
- Help conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits
- Participate in implementing security controls and best practices
- Document security procedures and maintain security records
- Collaborate with IT teams on security awareness initiatives
- Research emerging cybersecurity trends and threats
- Help in other related information security projects and endeavors

Required Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Information Technology, Computer
- Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Relevant Cyber/IT certifications
- Basic understanding of network security concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work both independently and in team environments

Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity through coursework or personal projects
- Education or Experience in technical environments
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies
- Project coordination experience
