Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Fragrance Development Manager. The role involves collaborating with perfumers, evaluators, and cross-functional teams to translate client briefs into winning fragrance solutions that align with market trends, technical feasibility, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with perfumers and evaluators to translate client briefs into successful fragrance solutions.
- Drive the fragrance development process from concept to completion, ensuring projects meet customer expectations, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Production) for seamless project execution.
- Manage fragrance submissions tailored to customer requirements, regional preferences, and regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding product needs and providing recommendations/modifications.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, market analysis, and consumer insight studies to support development strategies.
- Monitor product stability, olfactive performance, and application compatibility.
- Lead sensory evaluation panels and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training.
- Support sampling logistics, documentation, and technical data sharing with customers.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of fragrance families, olfactive profiles, and global market preferences.
- Ability to translate market insights and trends into actionable fragrance strategies.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of GC/MS analysis, stability testing, and formulation support (preferred).
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with fragrance management systems (e.g., SAP, Scentmate, Oracle) is an advantage.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Perfumery, or related field.
- 58 years of relevant experience in fragrance development, evaluation, or a similar role within the fragrance/consumer goods industry.
