Job Description Job Summary The Technical Lead role requires a seasoned professional with 7 to 9 years of experience in AS400 COBOL CLLE DB2/400 and CLP. The candidate will work in a hybrid model primarily during the day shift with no travel requirements. This role involves leading technical projects ensuring high-quality deliverables and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency. Responsibilities - Lead the design and development of software solutions using AS400 COBOL CLLE DB2/400 and CLP to meet business requirements. - Oversee the implementation of technical solutions ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues ensuring seamless integration and functionality. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical processes and solutions. - Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines. - Analyze and optimize existing systems to improve performance and efficiency. - Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in all technical implementations. - Monitor and report on project progress identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team to enhance technical capabilities. - Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems. - Support the companys mission by delivering reliable and efficient technical solutions that positively impact society. Qualifications - Possess strong expertise in AS400 COBOL CLLE DB2/400 and CLP with a proven track record of successful project delivery. - Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. - Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams. - Show proficiency in technical documentation and process optimization. - Have a deep understanding of data security and privacy regulations. - Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends. - Bring a proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions. Certifications Required IBM Certified Specialist - AS400 COBOL Programming Certification
