Position Summary: Dayananda Sagar University invites applications for the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering. The ideal candidate will have over 15+ years of total teaching/research/industry experience with a minimum of 5+ years post-PhD academic experience. The candidate should demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and leadership, contributing to the university’s academic and research goals. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Computer Science Engineering. - Guide and mentor students for projects, theses, and research activities. - Lead and contribute to research initiatives, publish in reputed journals, and present at conferences. - Develop innovative curriculum and course materials in line with industry trends and academic standards. - Supervise PhD scholars and foster a research-oriented environment within the department. - Participate in departmental administration, academic committees, and university initiatives. - Collaborate with industry and academia for consultancy projects, workshops, and seminars. - Engage in continuous professional development and promote interdisciplinary research. Qualifications and Experience: - PhD in Computer Science Engineering or related field from a recognized university. - Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in teaching, research, or industry. - At least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor post-PhD. - Strong publication record in reputed international journals and conferences. - Proven track record in securing research funding and leading projects is preferred. - Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Expertise in one or more areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Networking, or related fields is desirable. Preferred Skills: - Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. - Experience in curriculum design and accreditation processes. - Strong network with academic and industry professionals. - Passion for innovation, research, and student development.
