About the Company/Team OFSS Consulting is part of the Financial Services Global unit and provides a variety of consulting services covering new implementations, upgrades, customization, and managed services for industry-leading products like FLEXCUBE, DIGIX, Analytics, Pricing and Billing, Leasing and Lending, and Oracle Banking Products. Job Summary We are seeking aspirational graduates interested in a career in Consulting to join our niche Banking Domain and Practice. As a Consultant, you will support Senior Consultants, Project Managers, and teams of talented, professional business and technology consultants in the delivery of business-focused solutions for our clients using Oracle applications, tools, and technology. Key Responsibilities Develop skills and competence on our products in terms of functionality, design, and architecture Develop extensions or customization around our products in context of customer asks, including UI/UX, business functionality, interfaces, and integration, or reports and visualizations Assist in the testing and deployment of the product and the customization and developments Prepare documentation, including program specifications, unit test plans, test cases, technical documentation, release notes, and status reports Engage with customers at all levels to deliver high-quality projects, services, and advice Work Location: Bangalore OR Chennai Only Hybrid Set-Up Reporting 3x a week at our office Qualifications & Skills BE/BTECH/MCA background Minimum of 5 years worth of related experience in a similar capacity Good knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, SOAP, and REST-based web services Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, Junit, JMeter, Eclipse, GIT, Jira, Ant, and Unix Shell scripting Exposure to application servers, middleware concepts, and security concepts Sound knowledge of SDLC, including waterfall and agile models Strong analytical and communication skills Desired: Experience in working in the BFSI domain, specifically in banking Strong Oracle tech skills, including PL/SQL, SQL, and Java Experience in end-to-end implementation of solutions from inception to go-live Strong problem-solving skills and experience in supporting critical phases of projects Self-Assessment Questions To evaluate your fit for this role, please consider the following questions: Can you describe your experience with Oracle products and technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and web services?
