Position: Piping Designer Work Location: Bangalore, India Education: Diploma/BE Experience: 5+ Years of Experience Roles & Responsibilities: - Must have minimum 6 years of experience in piping design. - Proficient in AutoCAD Plant3D / CADWORX / SP3D / E3D - Eye for the preliminary, conceptual steel framing shape to provide support of the skid/module - Experienced enough to be able to position equipment suitable for access and maintenance activities - Understanding of the software specific administrative functions of setting up project database - Equipment layout and pipe routing of road freight modules. - Equipment modeling of Vessels (generic shapes using parameterized shapes in software) - Import special shape reactors from Mechanical Engineering Department (STEP) - Import vendor provided 3D models of valves, pumps, etc. - Model pipe supports and hangers - Supervision and workload assignment to subordinate piping designer. - Interfaces with Project Manager / Project Engineer - Interfaces with Sr. Principal Piping Engineer, and Sr. Piping Designer as needed - Interfaces with Process Engineering function. Tools Required: AutoCAD Plant 3D or Cadworx or SP3D or E3D
