Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Data Engineer
In this role, we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in AWS Redshift and SQL, strong project leadership skills, and a passion for driving data initiatives end-to-end. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines for analytics and decision-making.
Responsibilities
. Lead and manage end-to-end data engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams including analytics, product, and engineering.
. Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Redshift, SQL, and AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda).
. Optimize Redshift clusters and SQL queries for performance and cost-efficiency.
. Serve as the domain expert for data modeling, architecture, and warehousing best practices.
. Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and data quality issues.
. Mentor junior engineers and enforce coding and architectural standards.
. Own the data lifecycle: from ingestion and transformation to validation and delivery for reporting.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
. Good years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
. Proven expertise in AWS Redshift, advanced SQL, and modern data pipeline tools.
. Hands-on experience with data lakes, data warehousing, and distributed systems.
. Strong understanding of data governance, security, and performance tuning.
. Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and drive them to completion.
. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
. Experience with Python, PySpark, and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
. Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight).
. AWS certifications or relevant credentials are a plus
