Job Description Your Contribution - Material release activities for series production - Contribution to product and production projects by addressing material and manufacturing-related topics - Execution of regional material release projects - Collaboration with internal and external development partners such R&D, process, purchase, test labs, simulation and suppliers - Support for material and technology rollout initiatives - Conducting product and process audits at MAHLE plants to ensure material quality in serial production - Technical interaction with suppliers in materials engineering topics - Presentation of test results to internal stakeholders and external partners (development teams, suppliers, customers) - Maintenance and continuous improvement of material standards - Research and study of new developments in material areas Your Experience And Qualification - B.E. Metallurgy, or M.Sc. or PhD in Materials Engineering - Strong expertise in mechanical, physical, and (electro-) chemical properties of aluminum alloys, stainless steels, and metallic materials in general - Solid knowledge of corrosion behavior, corrosion protection systems, joining technologies, testing methods, forming processes, and metal physics - Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in materials engineering - Proficient knowledge of standard chemical and metallurgical analytics - Initial experience in managing technical work packages and development projects - Confident handling of internal and external standards as well as customer specifications - Excellent command of English (spoken and written) - Proficiency in preparing and presenting technical results Minimum Requirements - Strong presentation and communication skills. - Analytical and structured problem-solving approach. - Able to work with different stakeholders having wide range of experiences. - Knowledge of doing root cause analysis and detail out interpretations. - Excellent organizational and time management skills: prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. - Self-driven to act independently on specific topics and achieve results - Visit to travel to different plants, test labs and suppliers. - Support small to big engineering assignments and handling diversified projects.
