Job Description Pivot 2 Thrive is seeking a skilled Podcast & YouTube Video Editor to elevate our rapidly growing media ecosystem across business, marketing automation, and Tamil-language YouTube channels. This is a fully remote, high-impact role supporting a fast-scaling personal brand with multiple content verticals, including English and Tamil channels, global Consulting and industry-leading Go High Level (GHL) automation content. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong editing craft, a deep understanding of audience engagement, and a genuine passion for digital media. Knowledge of Tamil is highly recommended due to our active Tamil YouTube channel and podcast. Go High Level CRM experience is desirable but not required willingness to learn is highly valued. Key Responsibilities Video & Audio Editing (60%) - Edit long-form YouTube videos (talking-head, interviews, tutorials, keynote-style content) - Edit podcast episodes for Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube - Create high-retention short-form vertical clips for Reels, TikTok & YouTube Shorts - Add subtitles, motion graphics, zoom-ins, B-roll, animations & chapter markers - Ensure audio balancing, noise reduction, EQ correction & mastering - Repurpose webinar recordings, keynote speeches, and training videos into engaging micro-content - Maintain consistent brand pacing, emotion, and storytelling across all channels Content Production & Creative Strategy (25%) - Collaborate on content ideas, hooks, and story structures - Identify viral moments, strong quotes, and impactful segments - Assist in shaping video formats and repeatable content series - Research trends in YouTube, podcasting & short-form media - Align content with brand voice, audience insights, and marketing goals Workflow & Asset Management (15%) - Manage content libraries, templates, thumbnails, and project files - Organise raw footage, naming conventions & versioning across platforms - Deliver assets on agreed timelines with strong communication - Track weekly uploads, performance insights & optimisation opportunities - Manage content calendars and collaborate in Clickup/GHL/Drive Required Qualifications Essential Experience - 2+ years experience editing videos for YouTube, podcasts, or social channels - Solid understanding of pacing, rhythm, storytelling, and retention mechanics - Able to edit both English and Tamil content (Tamil proficiency strongly preferred) - Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar - Ability to create short-form clips optimized for virality - Demonstrated examples of past editing work Technical Competence - Strong skill in motion graphics, captions, templates & thumbnail optimisation - Ability to clean audio and enhance sound quality professionally - Understanding of colour grading, frame rates, aspect ratios & export settings - Ability to learn new platforms independently - Go High Level (GHL) familiarity is a bonus willingness to learn is essential Digital Self-Sufficiency (Essential) - Can work independently with minimal supervision - Strong file management & media organisation skills - Comfort with cloud-based collaboration tools (Drive, Notion, GHL, Zoom) - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Capable of owning the full editing workflow end-to-end Desired Skills & AttributesCreative Thinking - Strong storytelling instincts - Understanding of what keeps viewers hooked - Ability to elevate raw footage into compelling narratives - Knowledge of Tamil cultural nuances is a plus Communication Excellence - Ability to understand briefs clearly - Regular communication in a remote environment - Takes feedback maturely and iterates fast What We OfferProfessional Development - Direct mentorship from a fast-scaling digital brand - Exposure to AI and automation tools within Go High Level - Regular training across digital media, content, and storytelling - Opportunities to contribute creatively and influence content direction Growth Opportunity - Ability to advance into Lead Editor or Content Manager roles - Work across multiple channels: Business, AI, Tamil, Entrepreneurship - Portfolio-building opportunities with high-visibility content Work Environment - Fully remote work from anywhere - Flexible hours with Australian-time-zone communication preferred - High-autonomy role with creative freedom - Collaborative, fast-paced, impact-driven culture Reporting & Relationships Reports to: Founder & Chief Content Officer (Priya) Key Collaboration: - Operations Manager - Graphic Designer - Marketing/Automation Team Performance MetricsCore KPIs - Consistent delivery of weekly edited videos - Improvement in viewer retention & engagement - Output of short-form clips (per week/month) - On-time delivery & adherence to brand standards - Growth in channel metrics (watch time, click-through, subscribers) Location Fully Remote Work-from-anywhere role with flexible scheduling (AU timezone preferred) Application Process Please submit: - Resume or portfolio - Showreel or 35 samples of your editing work (YouTube/podcast/shorts) - Links to Tamil editing samples (if available) - A brief note on why you're excited to work in both English & Tamil creator ecosystems - (Optional) Experience or interest in learning Go High Level
