Pulmonologist

Responsibilities - Conduct thorough patient assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans - Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests and sleep studies - Diagnose and manage acute and chronic respiratory diseases - Execute advanced procedures including bronchoscopy pleural drainage and mechanical ventilation - Provide emergency care for respiratory crises such as acute respiratory failure and pulmonary embolism - Coordinate care with specialists nurses and respiratory therapists - Maintain accurate compliant medical records in EMR systems - Engage in quality improvement audits and professional development initiatives Requirements - MBBS with MD DM in Pulmonary Medicine or equivalent - Valid medical license e g Medical Council of India - 0-5 years of clinical experience in pulmonology with proven expertise in COPD asthma ILD and sleep medicine - Hands-on experience in bronchoscopy mechanical ventilation thoracentesis and PFT interpretation - Strong diagnostic acumen decision-making skills and patient-focused approach - Proficiency in EMR systems and medical documentation standards - Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to clinical guidelines Preferred Qualifications - Fellowship in Sleep Medicine Interventional Pulmonology or Critical Care - Experience in teaching mentoring or clinical research - Active participation in CME and professional medical associations
