As a Linux Systems Engineer you will be responsible for providing day to day Linux support for multiple customers by exercising proven Operating System and infrastructure experience in the enterprise space applying process procedures Standards guidelines and best practices Supporting BAU for various clients Management including installation configuration troubleshooting of various software applications Assist appropriate teams in all phases of Production implementation Perform system tuning activities where appropriate Make recommendations to improve the health of the system where necessary Provide on-call support as scheduled Coordinate service calls and requests with team members where necessary Respond to incident tickets and provide updates in a timely manner Skills Requirement Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments Knowledge in Linux Command Lines Configuration using REST Calls Setting up VPN System and network level administration Good Troubleshooting skills Experience installing configuring and maintaining services Ability to build and monitor services on production servers Additional knowledge of communication protocols such as MODBUS NMEA and MQTT Experience with container-based deployments using Docker including working with Docker images and Docker Hub Experience with Python Elasticsearch and MongoDB fundamentals and their integration and interactions Solid English communication Interpersonal skills Flexibility to work in different shifts Candidate Profile Must have a minimum 5 years relevant experience in the IT Services Industry Undergrad degree in Information Technology BS B E B-Tech in Electronics Electrical IT Must be able to work effectively within a project team Ability to independently plan organize and prioritize task assignments to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing We re a digital solutions company founded in 2013 Over the years we ve grown into a trusted technology partner for businesses around the world We work closely with global brands enterprises SMEs and startups delivering end-to-end digital solutions that help our clients adapt and thrive in the fast paced digital economy Our team brings deep expertise across many industry verticals consistently delivering secure and scalable software that s both innovative and user-friendly We believe the best results come from true partnership so we invest in understanding our clients needs and goals Collaboration continuous learning and a spirit of innovation are at the heart of everything we do With a presence in four cities worldwide and our delivery center in India we combine global reach with local expertise to turn our clients vision into reality one solution at a time
