Sr Engineer - Design Development Location Hinjewadi Pune - Maharashtra India Pacesetting Passionate Together HELLA one of the leading automotive suppliers worldwide has shaped the industry with innovative lighting systems and vehicle electronics In addition the company is one of the most important partners of the aftermarket and independent workshops What motivates us Shaping the mobility of tomorrow and fostering the central market trends such as autonomous driving efficiency and electrification connectivity and digitization as well as individualization Every day 36 000 employees worldwide are committed to this with passion know-how and innovative strength YOUR TASKS 4 - 6 years experience in Electromechanical products in Automotive Domain We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer in CAD Design to join our team The successful candidate will be responsible for planning tasks providing design solutions detailing updating and managing technical data and reviewing with the team Key Responsibilities Experience in Electromechanical product design is preferred Like Sensors Actuators control modules DCDC Convertors is a must Expert knowledge of CATIA V5 preferably plastics and die-castings Knowledge of GD T and basic tolerance stack-up Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing mainly plastics and die-castings Awareness of DFMEA and Failure Analysis Knowledge of component joining and assembly technologies Knowledge of product development life cycle Awareness of thermal management concepts Awareness of basic CAE structural simulation result interpretation Plan tasks provide design solutions and detail complex parts and assemblies Identify design requirements with the concerned design engineer customer for complex parts Assess input for design changes and implement based on priority and complexity using appropriate methodology and standards Design and detail complete complex parts considering fit form and function Ensure CAD data of individual assemblies and components according to technical standards and Hella norms Prepare and update complex parts according to standard QCD parameters Update and upload models in PDM as per standard requirements Check models for appropriate structure and quality using daily checklists YOUR QUALIFICATIONS BE B Tech Mechanical Engineering Good knowledge in systematic design Expert in CAD Strong written and oral communication skills in English Take the opportunity to reveal your potential within a global family-run company that offers you the best possible conditions for progressing in your career Please send us your application through our careers portal citing reference number req16706 HELLA India Automotive Pvt Ltd Rimsha Shaikh
