Chartered Accountant

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role located in Chennai. The Chartered Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including audits, financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and regulatory filing adherence. Responsibilities also include managing budgets, assessing financial risks, providing strategic financial advice and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and best practices. Key Duties & Responsibilities: - Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. - Manage and coordinate annual audits, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. - Prepare and file tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax) accurately and on time. - Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics. - Advise management on cost reduction, profit improvement, and investment strategies. - Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local accounting standards. - Supervise accounting staff and ensure timely closure of accounts. - Maintain effective communication with auditors, tax authorities and stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills: - Expertise in Accounting Principles, Budgeting and Financial Reporting - Proficiency in Taxation, Compliance and Audit Processes - Strong skills in Financial Analysis, Strategic Planning and Risk Management - High level of proficiency in Accounting Software and Financial Tools - Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills - Good communication and teamwork capabilities - Professional Certification (e.g., Chartered Accountant or CPA) is required - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field (master's preferred) - Chartered Accountant (CA) certification. - Proven experience in corporate accounting, auditing or financial management.
