Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, and prepare financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and compliance with Australian accounting standards.
- Provide administrative support, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining documentation.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to resolve accounting-related queries.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Australian accounting or bookkeeping.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software like Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of GST, BAS, and Australian compliance.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferredRole & responsibilities
