Permitting Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Permitting Specialist (Entry-Level) to join our team. This role is designed for early-career professionals who are eager to learn and grow. You will receive full training to support the permitting process for infrastructure and renewable energy projects, ensuring all approvals and documentation are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing, submitting, and tracking permit applications with local authorities, utility companies, and government agencies.
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide status updates.
- Gather, organize, and review project documentation to support the permitting process.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of permits and approvals.
- Learn and apply regulatory, zoning, and compliance requirements during training.
- Support senior team members in resolving permitting-related issues or delays.

Requirements

- Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interact professionally with stakeholders.
- Good comprehension skills to quickly understand regulations and project needs.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in permitting, regulatory affairs, or project coordination is a plus but not required.
