Within the GM IT Corporate Actions Development, we operate a hybrid platform of Vendor and BNP suite of asset servicing applications. Job Title AVP Date 10-Oct-2025 Department GM IT Location: Bengaluru Business Line / Function CIB Reports To (Direct) Project Lead Grade (if applicable) (Functional) Project Lead Number Of Direct Reports Directorship / Registration: NA Position Purpose Purpose: Full-Stack Tech Architect for the Global Markets (GM) IT Corporate Actions Stream Scope: The role of Full-Stack Tech Architect is embedded in the globally distributed IT Corporate Actions Stream, with Development Teams located globally. The remit of the role is to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of software solutions within the Global Markets IT Corporate Actions Stream. The engineer will work collaboratively with globally distributed teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure software aligned with business needs and technical best practices. Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities - Involve in strategy and collaborate with stakeholders on the vision of the project - Engineer digital solutions for complex problems involving capital markets platforms - Modernization of applications by initiating study around gap analysis, architecting solutions and collaborating with the team to bring it to closure as per plan and schedule. - Use cutting edge Gen AI tools in SDLC to bring-in end to end optimization from software development to rollout - Hands on - Full stack development. (UI, Middleware, Services/API, Backend (SQL) using Java 17 or above, Angular 14 or above, J2EE, JPA/Hibernate, Stored procedures. - Involve in performance benchmarking and optimization using monitoring tools like Dynatrace - Work in a collaborated setup with geographically distributed Agile Scrum teams - Understand and practice data security protocols and controls to ensure data protection. - Ensure usage of appropriate practises to ensure high quality (e.g. TDD). - Able to mentor a small team from a technical standpoint Contributing Responsibilities - Team player - Effectively communicating the work status and delivery status - Adhere to timelines set for the delivery - Guide / mentor / review other team member's deliveries and setup technical best practices - Implement / Improve DevOps Pipeline for production delivery. - Interact with functional and technical architects to design enterprise solutions. - Conduct / Drive workshops and technical forums within the department on tech trends.
