Company Description Visa is a world leader in payments and technology with over 259 billion payments transactions flowing safely between consumers merchants financial institutions and government entities in more than 200 countries and territories each year Our mission is to connect the world through the most innovative convenient reliable and secure payments network enabling individuals businesses and economies to thrive while driven by a common purpose - to uplift everyone everywhere by being the best way to pay and be paid Make an impact with a purpose-driven industry leader Join us today and experience Life at Visa We are seeking an accomplished Senior UI UX Engineer with over 7 5 years of experience including significant expertise in both frontend and backend development In this key role you will lead the design architecture and implementation of end-to-end user experiences for our digital products You will collaborate with cross-functional teams mentor junior members and drive innovation across the full technology stack Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design development and delivery of complex high-impact projects Collaborate with stakeholders product managers designers and engineers to align user experience with business objectives Architect develop and maintain responsive accessible and performant front-end interfaces using modern frameworks e g React Angular Vue js Design and develop robust backend services and APIs using technologies such as Node js Python Java or NET Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components Establish and maintain scalable design systems coding standards and best practices Conduct and analyze user research usability testing and data-driven evaluations to inform design and technical decisions Mentor junior team members and share expertise across the organization Stay current with UI UX and backend trends emerging technologies and advocate for continuous improvement This is a hybrid position Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering Design HCI or a related field 11 years of experience in UI UX engineering and full-stack development preferably in consulting or enterprise environments Proven expertise in both frontend HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript React Angular Vue js and backend Node js Python Java NET or equivalent development Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with backend systems Advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools Figma Adobe XD Sketch InVision Deep understanding of user-centered design accessibility WCAG and usability best practices Extensive experience developing and maintaining scalable design systems Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills Experience mentoring and leading cross-functional teams Portfolio demonstrating advanced UI UX projects and full-stack solutions Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and CI CD pipelines Knowledge of Agile Lean UX or DevOps practices Familiarity with motion design or micro-interactions Previous experience working with global or distributed teams Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin sexual orientation gender identity disability or protected veteran status Visa will also consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law
