About Ferguson Ferguson is the largest value-added distributor serving the specialized professional in the residential and non-residential North American construction market We help make our customers complex projects simple successful and sustainable by providing expertise and a wide range of products and services from plumbing HVAC appliances and lighting solutions to pipe valves and fittings water and wastewater solutions and more Headquartered in Newport News Virginia Ferguson has sales of 29 6 billion fiscal year 24 and approximately 35 000 associates in nearly 1 800 locations ANSR is the market leader in enabling organizations to build manage and scale global teams through Global Capability Centers GCCs ANSR s full-stack GCC platform comprising end-to-end Al- enabled products and services is trusted by the world s best companies to help them set up manage and run their high-impact technology centers Since its inception ANSR has established over 125 GCCs aggregating to over 125k enterprise talent with over 2B in investment and using over 12M sq ft of workspace Visit ansr com for more information DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for devising a strategic test plan with a focus on API Testing based on reviewing Requirements User Stories and Tech Design Responsible for design and development of automated API Testing Frameworks Responsible for creating regression testing suites for CI CD Test Automation Responsible for creating and executing detailed and Comprehensive API Test Cases that cover API Contract Validation Positive Negative Boundary and Edge Case Test Scenarios Responsible for reviewing peers test cases and test plans Responsible for code review of Automated Test Responsible for identifying logging and tracking API defects and collaborating with Development Business Analyst and Stakeholders to prioritize and resolve those defects Provides testing statistics and metrics for test closure Responsible for collaborating and leading End to End Testing regarding Consumers testing of the tested APIs Collaborate internally and across departments with peers to deliver products solutions that align with Fergusons strategic vision End-to-end ownership of solutions ensure accuracy and completeness of solution by having recurring checkpoints audit loops with technical implementation teams Review team practices to identify areas of improvement and gaps preventing the team from working at peak efficiency QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS A bachelors degree in computer Related or Business-related field is typically required to perform at expectation Software Testing or Software Support can be substituted for education Minimum of 3-5 years software testing experience preferred Strong knowledge of SDLC various testing concepts e g functional usability performance and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies Knowledge of API Performance Testing and monitoring tools such as Log Analytics Knowledge of API Automation Testing and Frameworks Must be able to create automation based on manual test cases that are created Must have knowledge of using automation in the CI CD Pipeline Must be self-motivated creative and efficient in identifying issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Proactive communication is essential for this role Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and testing at the same time Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components hardware software network operating systems storage and Cloud Platform components Hands on experience of Automation preferred Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences in written and non-written formats Proactive communicator who gains consensus and brings up issues as appropriate to keep projects on schedule Excellent communication interpersonal skills attention to detail
