Accertify is the trusted partner to the world s leading brands With industry-leading fraud prevention chargebacks and account protection offerings we help our clients grow revenue and protect against loss When you join Accertify you become part of the digital solution to enable commerce across the globe Team Accertify provides a solution merchants trust and a career you can trust Join us on our mission and build a career you can trust Accertify is growing and we are looking to add a Data Science Analyst to our global fraud-fighting team How will you make an impact in this role As part of the Accertify Fraud Decision Sciences team the incumbent will be primarily responsible for building and providing industry leading Decision Science Solutions and Data Products for Accertify s clients Successful solutions will improve the efficiency of Accertify fraud solutions to merchants - more automatic decisions and fewer manual reviews - while maintaining or improving fraud prevention and opening new revenue streams Key Responsibilities Deliver fraud prevention solutions for Accertify clients Understand the key drivers behaviors associated with different types of Fraud Being abreast of the latest fraud trends and problems being faced by the industry and Accertify clients Drive Modeling innovation Develop new and enhance existing models by utilizing the best-in-class machine learning AI techniques Elevate Data Science Perform Feature Engineering using data from clients spanning various industries across the globe to improve the model s risk discrimination or improve economics over and above the existing framework Partner and collaborate with multiple Accertify colleagues to implement models develop Capabilities that will help in more optimal decisions and drive revenue Critical Factors to Success Business Outcomes Drive Revenue growth and profitability through advanced analytical techniques Innovation in using Modeling Techniques and Variable creation Leadership Outcomes Put enterprise thinking first Connect the role s agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers partners and colleagues Lead with an external perspective - challenge the status quo and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings while keeping a keen eye on industry competition Build the Best Team - nurture and enhance the team s ML AI skills data expertise and Consulting skills Demonstrate Learning Agility - make decisions quickly with the highest level of integrity Minimum Qualifications 0-3 years with relevant experience in the Analytics Modelling Decision Science domain Postgraduate in Statistics Mathematics Economics Engineering Management Data Science Machine Learning Artificial Intelligence Gradient Boosting Machines Deep Learning Unsupervised Techniques Decision Trees etc Understanding of Advanced Statistical Techniques and Key model performance metrics ex Data Correlation AUC GINI Precision Recall Knowledge of R Python PySpark SAS SQL Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Behavioral Skills Capabilities Strong quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to lead and perform analysis Ability to connect and utilize a wide array of seemingly unstructured data attributes Bring Others with You - Building trusting relationships and a strong collaborator with the ability to influence others Drives Results - Attention to detail and high-quality execution and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in an environment of tight deadlines Communicate Frequently Candidly and Clearly Make Decisions Quickly Effectively This will be a hybrid role located at the Accertify Gurgaon campus location Additional Information The position s training will be onsite in the office from 9 30 a m to 6 p m for three weeks Following this training schedules will be determined based on client needs For the first three months each workday will be entirely onsite in the office with the position becoming hybrid 3 days in the office two days work from home following the 3-month point Accertify reserves the right to convert any and all positions to fully in-office in the future Additional work-from-office days may be required throughout the year based on client department needs Due to business requirements and high volumes from November through January PTO will be on Freeze due to the blackout period in place No PTO request will be entertained during this duration Powered by JazzHR
