Job Description Industry: ODM (Audio Electronics) Role: Audio New Product Development (NPD) Role 1: With 3-4 yrs Experience Role 2: With 5-6 Yrs Experience Overview A results-driven Audio NPD professional with hands-on expertise in end-to-end development of consumer audio products including Bluetooth speakers, soundbars, and party speakers. Skilled in acoustic design, audio tuning, testing, and validation with a strong understanding of audio engineering principles and Dolby Audio implementation. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end audio product development for BT speakers, soundbars, and party speakers in the ODM environment. - Drive audio tuning, calibration, and optimization to achieve desired sound signature and performance levels. - Conduct product testing including electrical, acoustic, reliability, and functional validation. - Hands in with hardware trouble shooting and PCBA test set-up. - Understanding of the power supply, DSP IC and electronics components working. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electronics, firmware, ID) to ensure audio performance goals are met. - Review acoustic architecture (woofer, tweeter configuration, enclosure design, port tuning) and propose improvements. - Ensure successful integration of Dolby Audio technologies and compliance with respective certification requirements. - Analyse test data using CLIO system, tuning tools, and advanced electrical/acoustic analysers to identify issues and drive improvements. - Support NPI & manufacturing teams in solving audio-related issues during trial builds and mass production. - Benchmark competitor products and provide insights for next-gen audio development.
