We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accountant to join our finance team The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations alongside hands-on experience with managing complex financial tasks You will be responsible for preparing financial statements managing accounts payable receivable performing audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards GAAP IFRS Account Reconciliation Perform regular bank credit card and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency Accounts Payable Receivable Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable functions ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payments Tax Preparation Compliance Assist in preparing tax returns and ensure compliance with local state and federal tax regulations Audit Coordination Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits providing necessary documentation and support Budgeting Forecasting Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts monitoring performance and providing analysis for cost-saving measures Internal Controls Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting policies Financial Analysis Analyze financial data to identify trends opportunities for improvement and potential areas of concern Other Duties Support the finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks as needed Required Skills Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field CPA or equivalent certification preferred Experience Minimum 1 year experience in accounting or finance with a proven track record in financial reporting tax preparation and account reconciliation Technical Skills Proficiency in accounting software e g QuickBooks SAP or Oracle and Microsoft Excel Knowledge Strong understanding of accounting principles tax laws and financial regulations Analytical Skills Ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed recommendations Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
