Compliance Technology is building a sophisticated next generation surveillance solution on top of a distributed data platform Belfast United Kingdom and Pune India are the global hubs for the creation of feature-based surveillance algorithms using cutting edge technologies and techniques The global Trade Surveillance Technology team at Citi has an increased book of work that requires additional business lines countries and more sophisticated surveillance methods to be delivered using our strategic platforms These platforms allow users to monitor trading activity across multiple asset classes and information barriers on real time end of day and historic lookup bases for indications of potential Market Abuse Insider Dealing and other types of fraud The volume and variety of data involved in these surveillances and the complexity of the algorithms results in one of most challenging and appropriate use cases for big data technologies As we further expand global coverage and deliver more sophisticated Behavioral Analytics based solutions we are seeking a Testing Intermediate Analyst to join the team in Pune Role Overview As part of this role you will have an opportunity to work on sophisticated next generation surveillance solutions for Markets Information Barrier Retail Brokerage portfolios that are critical to firms commitment against market abuse We are looking for a highly motivated professional who is ready to take on the challenges of working in a fast-paced world-class environment and is ready to contribute to ensure quality of surveillance platforms The individual will collaborate with development business and Project Managers to build an understanding of the varied and complex business functionality supported by the surveillance platforms and perform manual automated testing on these systems Key Responsibilities The role will include but not limited to the following Work closely with the key stakeholders to understand Non-Functional requirements to design and implement appropriate Performance Testing strategy Follow standard performance testing methodologies - Perform Pilots develop and execute Test scripts identify defects discrepancies report defects and retest fixes Identify discrepancies report defects utilizing the internal tracking application communicate with the Functional development team and track them to resolution Ensures testing standards and procedures exist are followed Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance quality deliverables Skills Experience Hands-on experience with all activities included in Performance Testing Life Cycle from requirements gathering to test execution analysis and reporting Strong hands on experience on Load runner HTTP HTML Performance Center Webservices TruClient - Must to have JMeter C Java Java Script Should be able to derive Workload modeling for different test scenarios Sound knowledge on test monitoring tools- AppDynamics Dynatrace Splunk other industry standard APM tools Should have experience in troubleshooting Application performance issue and worked on basic performance troubleshooting methods using Heap Dump Analysis Thread Dump Analysis JVM Tuning Proficiency in testing concepts standards Agile methodology Hands on experience in Performance Test Estimation Test Data Setup Test result reporting and Defect Management Basic knowledge on infra capacity planning and SQL Good to have knowledge on CI-CD tools - Jenkins TeamCity Good to have knowledge on Big Data ecosystem and related tools - Yarn Unravel Hive Spark Hadoop Exposure to defect tracking systems JIRA ALM etc and testing life cycles Experience in writing test artifacts - Test Plans Test cases Test reports In addition the following will be a distinct advantage Understanding of Capital Markets for example trading the trade lifecycle exchanges market participants etc across multiple asset classes ISTQB certification and or ISEB certification preferred Good understanding of Capital Markets related data e g Trade Orders and Executions Reference Data Market Data etc Experience testing systems that process large volumes of complex data and apply complex mathematical functions Experience testing systems that are based on Data Mining Big Data Behavioral Analytics and Machine Learning techniques Job Family Group TechnologyJob Family Technology QualityTime Type Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability or status as a protected veteran Citigroup Inc and its subsidiaries Citi invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and or apply for a career opportunity review View the poster View the View the View the Citigroup
