Job Title: Snowflake Administrator / Data Engineer Location: Remote 1.-2 days a month Hyderabad, Chennai , Pune , Bangalore , Noida , Gurgaon . Employment Type: Full Time Experience Required: 4+ Years About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Administrator / Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Azure Cloud, and data security practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing production environments, implementing data governance policies, and working with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities - Administer and optimize Snowflake in production environments. - Implement and manage RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), RLS (Row-Level Security), and CLS (Column-Level Security) in Snowflake. - Design, develop, and maintain data models, SQL queries, and Snowflake scripting. - Collaborate with teams to design and manage Azure Cloud architecture and services. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Azure DevOps. - Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory frameworks. - Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize costs for Snowflake and Azure environments. - Prepare technical documentation and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Required Qualifications - 3+ years of experience administering Snowflake in a production environment. - Strong experience with Azure Cloud services and architecture. - Proven expertise in implementing RBAC, RLS, and CLS policies in Snowflake. - Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake scripting, and data modeling. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools (Terraform, Azure DevOps). - Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to work independently as well as within a team. Preferred Skills - Snowflake SnowPro Certification. - Azure Administrator or Azure Data Engineer Certification. - Experience with Python or other scripting languages. - Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
